Four Seasons Pediatrics is pleased to announce two new doctors joining the Four Seasons Pediatrics Family

Dr. Melissa Ungeheuer (Dr. Melissa) will be joining us on June 1st. Dr. Melissa is joining us from Hudson Mohawk Pediatrics. We wish to thank Hudson Mohawk Pediatrics, who has been covering our practice through all the years we have been Four Seasons Pediatrics.  Dr. Buckley is retiring and has decided to close her office.  We would like to welcome Dr. Melissa along with her and Dr. Buckley’s patients who are joining our family at Four Seasons Pediatrics.  A little bit about her –

Dr. Melissa Ungeheuer, D.O.

She was born in Brooklyn but grew up in upstate NY.  She attended college at the University of South Florida and completed Medical school training at LECOM Bradenton.  She moved back to NY for her Pediatric Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Long Island and moved back upstate to work in more underserved/rural areas.  She previously worked at Hudson Mohawk Pediatrics until Dr. Buckley’s retirement at the end of May 2020.  Her philosophy is to nurture a happy healthy child and focus on preventative care and education.  She has an interest in mental health and ADHD.  She has been practicing for 10 years prior to joining us and is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Zyra O’Connor, MD

Dr. Zyra O’Connor will be joining us on July 12th.  Dr. O’Connor grew up on the beautiful island of Guam.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame before attending Michigan State University College of Human Medicine for medical school and completing her Pediatric Residency training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.  Prior to moving to the Capital District, Dr. O’Connor practiced at Virginia Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, PLC in Arlington, VA.  She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She lives with her husband, two daughters, and cat (Pumpkin).
