Bio In my 16 years of practice, I have found, that at my core I am a client centered therapist. This means that I believe that the process in therapy is driven by the client and what their needs are in the present moment. That said, I have also discovered that using cognitive behavioral techniques to help sort through unhelpful thoughts that might be driving negative emotions and behavior(s) is an important part of the process, as is teaching mindfulness techniques to help calm the body and the mind. I specialize in working with children, adolescence and families experiencing mental health issues. I seek to address the complex interactions of past and present, mind and body, thoughts, emotions and actions. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as a variety of other modalities that I will tailor to your child and families unique needs. Above all else, my goal is to see the person(s) sitting in front of me, understand their struggle, and guide them on a journey to find more balance and peace in all areas of their life.
